Due to the current driver shortage situation the industry is faced with, we at Express Freight have committed ourselves to training and developing drivers.
Our HR and Compliance Manager, Johnny Walker is working with drivers constantly to ensure they receive the best level of training and knowledge to help them become competent drivers and ambassadors for the company.
As part of our endeavours a number of drivers have been progressed and have obtained their HGV Class 2 licence.
Johnny Walker commented "As a company, we recognize the importance of drivers to our operation. We have therefore implemented a training and development strategy amongst our driving team to ensure that our drivers are among the best qualified within the industry. We believe that our ongoing training programme will increase our retention of drivers and attract the best drivers to our organisation."
